The new Jaguar XJ - detail on video and driving footage
We went off today to have a good look at the all new Jaguar XJ at the Saatchi Gallery, and we’ve come away even more impressed than we were from the detail we’ve had to date. So over the weekend we’ll bring you a ton of detail – which we promise will be pretty much the end of the big Jaguar XJ coverage until we get our hands on one – on what we know and what we feel about the XJ. But in the meantime – for those who can’t get enough of the XJ – we thought we’d bring you a video of the new Jaguar XJ, with shots of the interior and exterior plus driving footage.
When we first heard about this show, we figured it would be all famous cars from famous movies: the real Bullitt Mustang, the real Herbie, the real pod racer from Star Wars. While there were some actual movie cars at the first show of the newly minted Television/Motion Picture Car Club--including the Charger from Fast & Furious and a real Dukes of Hazzard General Lee--the majority of the wheels were tribute cars made by fans who happened to work in the movie industry. The only Star Wars car was a converted Honda Civic Del Sol with a stuffed green Yoda riding shotgun.
